As the world moves toward a more sustainable future, the role of business is being redefined. From creating value to creating value more sustainably, and from focusing on growth to fostering the long-term coexistence of people and the environment, every choice we make is a response to the future we want to build.
Against this backdrop, Earth Day is more than a call to action. It is an opportunity to reflect on and put into practice more sustainable ways of living and working.
On April 22, HEAD Group marked Earth Day with a series of activities that brought sustainability to life through everyday actions.
Greener Commutes, One Step at a Time
As part of our commitment to low-carbon mobility, we encouraged employees to walk or cycle instead of driving for short commutes. Some rediscovered familiar streets they had rarely noticed before, while others took a moment to reconnect with the fresh air and sunshine along the way.
Reducing emissions is about more than numbers. It is also about making conscious lifestyle choices — ones that are healthier for us and more sustainable for the planet.
A Greener Choice, One Bite at a Time
On April 22, HEAD Group employees gathered in the cafeteria to enjoy a selection of plant-based meat dishes prepared by Mitjia, an investee company of the Group.
Choosing plant-based foods offers not only a new culinary experience, but also an opportunity to put sustainability into practice. Compared with conventional meat products, plant-based meat can significantly reduce resource consumption and carbon emissions during production.
Bringing low-carbon choices to the dining table is more than a change in eating habits. It reflects HEAD employees’ commitment to living in harmony with nature and building a greener future.
Every Correct Answer Counts for the Planet
To raise environmental awareness, we launched an online environmental knowledge quiz, attracting 1,019 participants.
Behind this figure lies a growing awareness of environmental issues across the organization. From understanding the challenges to building shared awareness and translating knowledge into action, awareness remains a key driver of lasting change.
HEAD Group has always remained committed to its vision: “Making Human Beings Healthier and the Environment More Friendly”
What matters to us is not simply holding an activity, but making better choices more accessible in everyday life — making low-carbon commuting a little easier and sustainable eating a little more convenient.
Earth Day is both a starting point and a reminder: in every aspect of daily life, let healthier choices and more environmentally friendly practices become the natural choice.
